Plan a month of content with the calendar and AI auto-plan

· 3 min read · Grow92 AI team

A content calendar is easier to keep when the first draft of it is already there. Grow92 AI’s Auto Content Plan proposes a balanced schedule based on your brand profile and catalog. You review and edit every item before anything is saved, and saved items are drafts — nothing is published until it is approved and scheduled.

Before you start

  • Auto Content Plan uses AI, which the Grow92 operator enables — by default with a local model running on the Grow92 server. If AI is not available, the planner says so and you can still plan posts manually from the calendar.
  • You need a role that can create content (Owner, Admin or Editor).
  • A complete brand profile and a few active catalog items give the planner much better material to work with.

Generate a plan

  1. Open Content Calendar from the sidebar and choose Auto Content Plan.
  2. Choose a period (a week or a month) and a start date.
  3. Set posts per week (1–21) and pick the platforms to include.
  4. Choose your goals and, optionally, content categories, audience, brand voice, language and a campaign. Leave categories empty for a mix.
  5. Add any blackout dates when nothing should be posted, then generate the plan.

Review and edit the proposal

The planner returns a list of proposed posts with a date, time, platform, title and draft caption, plus a short plan rationale explaining the balance it chose. It only features items from your own catalog and is instructed to use facts from your business context, but it is still a first draft — read it as one.

Change any date, time, platform or title, remove posts you do not want, or choose Regenerate to try again. Go Back to adjust the settings if the overall shape is wrong.

Save the plan

  1. Decide whether to tick “Submit these drafts for approval right away”.
  2. Accept the plan. Each item is saved as a draft on its planned date.
  3. Open any post from the calendar to edit its caption and media in Content Studio.
  4. Once a post is approved, schedule it from the post details panel.

Drafts and posts awaiting approval are shown on their planned dates but will not publish until they are approved and scheduled.

Working in the calendar

Times are shown in your workspace timezone, which you can change under Settings → Workspace. Filter by platform, campaign, content type, status or team member, and drag approved posts to reschedule them — a post must be at least two minutes in the future.

If no account is connected for a platform, the post is scheduled as a manual post: Grow92 AI sends your team a “time to post” reminder at the scheduled time, and you mark it as posted once you have published it yourself. TikTok and YouTube currently always work this way.
