What the connection does

What Grow92 does with Facebook

Grow92 connects to the Facebook Pages you manage through Meta’s official Facebook Login and publishes approved posts to them at the scheduled time. Text, link, single-photo, multi-photo and video posts are supported. A post is marked as published only after Facebook confirms it, and publishing jobs are idempotent, so a retry never posts twice.

Data imported or synchronised

  • The list of Facebook Pages you choose to share with Grow92
  • Page name and identifier for each connected Page
  • Page access tokens, encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM
  • The post ID and link Facebook returns after publishing

Setup

  1. Create a Meta app of type Business at developers.facebook.com and add Facebook Login for Business.
  2. Add the Grow92 callback URL (/api/oauth/facebook/callback on your API domain) as a valid redirect URI.
  3. Add the App ID and secret to the Grow92 server as META_APP_ID and META_APP_SECRET.
  4. Submit the app for Meta App Review to obtain Advanced Access to pages_manage_posts.
  5. In Grow92, open Social Accounts, choose Facebook and select the Pages to share.

Provider approvals

  • Meta App Review (Advanced Access) for pages_manage_posts before users outside the app’s own roles can connect

Limitations

  • Publishing is to Facebook Pages only, not personal profiles or Groups.
  • A single post can contain photos or one video, not both.
  • Page insights, comments and Messenger conversations are not synced yet.
  • Boosting posts and Meta ads are not part of this integration.
